Departmental Financial Support

Following admission to the program students can apply for departmental fellowships, assistantships and other funding opportunities. This is a separate application process and admitted students will receive information in late spring/early summer.

College of Health and Human Sciences Fellowship

This fellowship is awarded to a first year student enrolling in the Occupational Therapy Master's Degree Program. The recipient is simultaneously appointed to .25 teaching assistantship. Fellowships are awarded for one year (nonrenewable). The amount awarded varies each year. All awardees must meet the following criteria:

  • 1st time admit to CSU Graduate School for Fall 2018 semester.
  • Minimum 3.25 undergraduate GPA as well as a separately calculated 3.25 GPA in any graduate work already completed.
  • Full-time registration for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters.
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Approximate amounts in the package are as follows:
Fellowship $1500
Teaching assistantship $7390
Half tuition remission (no fees)

Research/Support Assistantships

Many of the faculty members employ student hourly and graduate assistants on their grants and projects. These positions open up throughout the year and range between 5 and 20 hours per week.
