The Occupational Therapy Department offers Master of Science (MS) and Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degrees for students with undergraduate degrees in disciplines other than OT. To enter the MS or MOT program, you must have a baccalaureate degree. Those who choose to pursue undergraduate study at CSU apply through the Colorado State University Admissions Office.

Information is available electronically to applicants to verify the completeness of their application; therefore, the Occupational Therapy Department no longer informs applicants by e-mail if application materials have been received.

Please note that because of the different time zones, the OTCAS and CSU Graduate School submission deadlines are two hours earlier than the submission deadline for the OT Departmental application materials.

  • Transcripts: Request transcripts to be sent only to OTCAS. Do not request official transcripts to be sent to the Department of Occupational Therapy or Colorado State University.
  • Transcripts on CSU Graduate School application checklist: The checklist on the CSU Graduate School application will not reflect official transcripts sent to OTCAS. If your CSU Graduate School application checklist indicates that all items have been received except for the official transcripts, your CSU Graduate School application is complete. In addition to the CSU Graduate School application, see above for a list of items required for a complete application.
  • Letters of Recommendations: Request letters of recommendation to be sent only to OTCAS. Do not request letters of recommendation to be sent to the Department of Occupational Therapy or Colorado State University.
